Boosting MSME sector: Ramban Administration holds awareness Event on RAMP Scheme

RAMBAN, JANUARY 08: The District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban, in collaboration with the District Administration, Jammu & Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO), and other Government Departments, organized a seminar/awareness camp here in the Conference Hall  Ram to generate awareness about the Raising and Accelerating MSME’s Performance (RAMP) scheme of MoMSME.

The program aimed to  broaden outreach, seek feedback on existing MoMSME schemes and identifying challenges impacting MSME sector growth, particularly in relation to the parameters considered in RAMP, such as disbursement link indicators (DLIS).

Abhay Ravetkar, Team Leader J&K RAMP from Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, presented the RAMP program through a PowerPoint presentation and sensitized participants about the procedure for submitting online surveys under the scheme.

The general public was highly impressed by the scheme, expressing willingness to co-operate in facilitating the survey  to boost industrial and commercial activity in the District.

The event saw the presence of key figures, including the Lead District Manager, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, representatives from line departments, FPOS, SHGS, and entrepreneurs of Ramban District. Their valuable inputs were recorded for the successful implementation of the RAMP scheme by MoMSME.
