Block Diwas Programmes held at Wagoora & Marazigund Baramulla

BARAMULLA, December 20: As part of public outreach programme and in order to take first hand appraisal of the issues of general public at their door steps, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf today chaired a day long Block Diwas at Wagoora Baramulla and listened to various issues and demands of people meant for the overall welfare and development of the area.

Tehsildar Wagoora, Zeeshan Ahmad Khan, officers from the line departments and a large gathering of people from adjoining villages participated in the Block Diwas.

On the occasion, the people put forth various developmental issues before the ADDC including macadamization and widening of link and main roads, irrigation, electricity issues among other pressing issues.

After patiently listening to the grievances and demands of the public, the ADDC assured them that their issues and demands would promptly be brought to the attention of the relevant authorities for resolution.

Addressing the gathering, the ADDC highlighted that the objective behind organizing these grievance redressal camps is to gather insights into local concerns from the public directly, enabling a thorough and timely resolution process based on on-site assessments.

Similarly, a Block Diwas was held in Marazigund Watergam and a Public Outreach Meeting under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was conducted in Shiva Sopore, presided by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina, Officers from line departments representing diverse departments.

The ADC attentively heard the grievances and demands of the people, assuring them of expedited resolution.
