BJP has brought social justice to the forefront of national policy: Sat Sharma
Vaibhav Ruckwal, prominent backward classes leader from Reasi, joins BJP with hundreds of supporters
Jammu, 16 June 2025: Vaibhav Ruckwal, National Secretary of All India Backward Classes Union and former spokesperson of the Indian Youth Congress from Reasi, formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with hundreds of his supporters. He was accompanied by Nitin Mukesh, State Vice-President of the All India Backward Classes Union, and social activists Sparsh Sawhney and Sunil Dogra.

J&K BJP President Sat Sharma, and General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, accompanied by MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat, BJP All Cells Incharge Rakesh Mahajan, former JMC Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Incharge Dil Bahadur Singh Jamwal welcomed the new entrants in a joining programme held at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The joining was facilitated by District Reasi BJP President Rohit Dubey.
Welcoming the new entrants, Sat Sharma said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the most trusted political party who truly serves the nation and the society.
“We welcome Vaibhav Ruckwal and his entire team into our family with open arms. His commitment to the welfare of the backward classes and his deep connect with the grassroots will immensely benefit our organization”, said Sat Sharma.
Sharma said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has brought social justice to the forefront of national policy. Whether it is through reservations, economic upliftment, or focused schemes for OBCs and marginalized communities, the party has consistently delivered on its promises.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the gathering, remarked that BJP welcomes Vaibhav and all his associates into the BJP family. Their experience in social and political spheres will add value to our ongoing efforts to reach the grassroots and uplift the underrepresented communities. The BJP remains dedicated to working for the last person in the queue.
Rohit Dubey, on the occasion, said that the significant expansion of the BJP’s support base in the Reasi region, particularly among backward classes and youth circles, reaffirms the party’s mass connect and inclusive approach.
Expressing his views after joining the BJP, Vaibhav Ruckwal said that the BJP is the only party that has taken concrete steps for the upliftment of the backward classes and deprived sections of society. I have full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the working of the BJP in Jammu & Kashmir. We are committed to working shoulder to shoulder with the party to ensure inclusive development in Jammu & Kashmir.
