Bhoti Grammar Training/Workshop by DIET Leh concludes

LEH, June 21: The seven-day Bhoti Grammar Training/Workshop (June 14-21)organised by DIET Leh in collaboration with Pethub Khamtsen concluded successfully today.

Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. MP Ladakh emphasised the importance of Bhoti language in Himalayan region and particularly in UT Ladakh, and urged the Bhoti teachers to implement the outcome of the said training in their respective schools.

Geshe Beri Gyalse the expert/trainer from Drepung Loseling Mongod Karnataka, praised the terminology used by Ladakhi people since time immemorial and assured the trainees and the organizers to cooperate for the upliftment of the Bhoti language and promised to visit in future as well  to provide/conduct similar kind of workshop.

 A rhyme book titled ‘Chespay Lungyangs’ published by DIET Leh and edited by Dr. Lotos Rabgyas was launched on the occasion.

In the honour of Bhoti language expert Geshe Beri Gyalse, a cultural programme was performed by Bhoti trainee teachers.

Lastly, HOD, Diskit Spalzes presented the  vote of thanks on behalf of DIET Leh.
