Bhaderwah Campus organized a training program on IOT sensor networks for the students of the various educational institutions

Bhaderwah, June 18: The Department of Computer Science and IT of the Bhaderwah Campus, in collaboration with iHUB DivyaSampark IIT Roorkee, conducted a training program on IOT sensor networks for the students of the various educational institutions.

The training program was jointly conducted by the Department of Computer Science and IT of the Bhaderwah Campus and iHUB DivyaSampark IIT Roorkee on IOT sensor networks in the recently established research laboratory at the Bhaderwah Campus. The training program is a part of the MoU executed between the Department of Computer Science and IT at Bhaderwah Campus and iHUB DivyaSampark at IIT Roorkee.

The training program was conducted for the schoolchildren, college students, and university students of the Doda district. Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof. Rahul Gupta, I/C Head Department of Computer Science and IT of the Bhaderwah Campus Dr. Jatinder Manhas, experts from IIT Roorkee, faculty members of the Computer Science Department Dr. Abid Sarwar, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Dr. Ajay Lakhotra, Dr. Ashok Sharma, Ms. Bablu Sharma, ERO Bahderwah Campus Arif Khateeb, Yasir Ali, Parvesh Singh, and teaching and non-teaching staff of various educational institutions and Bhaderwah Campus were present on the occasion.

The training was conducted by the trainers from UniConverge Technologies Noida in physical mode.

Speaking on the occasion, Rector Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. Rahul Gupta, said that the aim behind this training program is to impart basic IOT sensor networks to the students of the various educational institutions. He said that such programmes will help to educate Students about the latest technology being used in the field of Computer Science

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jatinder Manhas said that the training part covers the acquaintance of the young students with the emergent technology of IoT devices. “The students were exposed to how to measure moisture, air quality, and object detection using IoT sensor networks,” he added.

Dr. Manhas further informed that the training was conducted on the advanced equipment of the IoT sensor networks, and their applications in solving real-world problems were also addressed.

The students of the various school, College and University thanked the authorities of Bhaderwah Campus especially Rector Bhaderwah Campus for organizing such Training program on IOT sensor networks for the students of the various educational institutions.
