BDO assesses academic activities, monitors progress at GHS Gandoh as Prabhari Officer

DODA, MAY 17: As part of the district administration’s initiative to improve the standard of education and ensure smooth functioning of government schools, Block Development Officer (BDO) Jakyas Anup Kumar today conducted inspection visit to Government High School (GHS) Gandoh in his capacity as the designated Prabhari Officer.

During the visit, BDO Anup Kumar interacted with students and staff, assessing the academic environment and overall functioning of the institution. He motivated the students to focus on their studies and avail themselves of every opportunity for personal and academic growth. He also stressed the importance of discipline, regular attendance, and participation in extracurricular activities.

The visit was aimed at identifying challenges faced by the school, including issues related to infrastructure, student learning levels, and staff availability. As a mentor, BDO Jakyas also evaluated the teaching standards and discussed remedial measures with the teachers to improve students’ pass percentages.

In line with the district administration’s guidelines, BDO Anup Kumar emphasized awareness among students regarding national initiatives such as Swachh Gram/Panchayat and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. He urged the students to actively participate in these campaigns and become responsible citizens.

The Chief Education Officer Doda has directed all Heads of Institutions to extend full cooperation to Prabhari Officers during their visits. Such coordinated efforts aim to uplift the educational standards and create a conducive learning atmosphere for students across the district.
