Bandipora police arrest two narcotics traffickers, transfer them to Central Jail in Jammu
Bandipora Police apprehended two individuals, Mehraj U Din Bhat from Plan and Ather Altaf Lone from Nowpora, who were actively involved in the narcotics trade.
Bandipora Police booked two drug smugglers namely Mehraj U Din Bhat R/o Plan & Ather Altaf Lone R/o Nowpora under PIT NDPS Act and lodged them in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu, for their continuous involvement in trade of narcotics.@JmuKmrPolice @KashmirPolice @DIGBaramulla

They now face legal action under the PIT NDPS Act, emphasizing the authorities’ commitment to combat drug smuggling.
The accused have been remanded to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal in Jammu, serving as a strong warning to others engaged in illicit drug activities.
