AYUSH Shopian conducts School Health Camps to promote student well-being

SHOPIAN, MAY 31: In alignment with the directions of the Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir Shah, Ayush Health and Wellness Centre (AHWC) at Wachie and Reshinagri successfully conducted school health check-up camps, focusing on the holistic well-being of school children.
These health camps were organized as part of AYUSH’s ongoing commitment to preventive and promotive healthcare.
The initiative included comprehensive general health assessments, dental check-ups, and basic blood investigations, aiming to evaluate and enhance the overall health of students.

A total of 22 students underwent detailed health screenings during the camps. The dedicated medical teams from AHWC Wachie and Reshinagri ensured a thorough examination process and provided personalized health advice to the students where required.
The camps played a crucial role in the early detection of health concerns and helped raise awareness among students about the importance of personal hygiene and preventive care.

The initiative was well-received by the school authorities and parents, who appreciated the proactive steps taken by the AYUSH department in safeguarding the health of school-going children.
