Arvind Gupta holds public darbar at BJP headquarters
Jammu, 29 May 2025: J&K BJP Secretary and MLA from Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, held a Public Darbar at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Public Darbar saw a large turnout and enthusiastic participation from a wide range of deputations representing various segments of society.
People from different walks of life, primarily from Jammu city and its adjoining areas, came forward to raise issues related to key public service departments. Dozens of deputations brought forth grievances pertaining to sectors such as Revenue, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Power Development Department (PDD), Public Works Department (PWD), and others. The public expressed concerns on matters including road infrastructure, water scarcity, malfunctioning or absence of street lights, need for construction and repair of lanes and drains, issues with ration cards, and delays in availing welfare schemes.
Arvind Gupta patiently listened to each deputation. Demonstrating a prompt and responsive approach, the BJP leader ensured that the issues were immediately forwarded to the concerned departmental officials for necessary action. He emphasized the importance of a time-bound resolution of all genuine concerns raised by the public, assuring them that no voice would go unheard.
Addressing the media and those present, Arvind Gupta remarked that the overwhelming public trust in the Bharatiya Janata Party is a testament to the party’s integrity, accountability, and grassroots connect. He stated that the BJP remains steadfast in its mission to serve the people and make governance accessible to all, particularly the underprivileged.
Gupta reiterated that these public outreach programmes will be a recurring feature, aimed at bridging the gap between citizens and administration. Such engagements, he said, foster transparency and help accelerate the resolution of issues affecting the daily lives of the common people.
Highlighting the broader vision of the BJP, Arvind Gupta said the party, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to the mission of Antyodaya reaching the last person in the queue. He stressed that inclusive development is the foundation of BJP’s governance model.
