Animal Husbandry Department organises awareness camp at Batote

RAMBAN, MARCH 4: The Animal Husbandry Department Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner,  Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, conducted an awareness camp in Batote area, today.

The primary objective of the camp was to educate farmers about the departmental schemes such as IDDS, IPDP, HADP & IFFD. Additionally, the importance of vaccination and deworming for controlling animal diseases was emphasized by Dr Sunil Bhardwaj (VAS).

The sessions featured insights from progressive farmers who shared their firsthand experiences as beneficiaries of government-sponsored schemes, highlighting the positive impact on their livelihoods.

Under the leadership of CAHO Ramban, Dr. Suhail Kawoosa the program was efficiently conducted with Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj VAS-Batote overseeing the proceedings.

The CAHO said that these awareness camps play a vital role in disseminating knowledge, empowering farmers, and promoting sustainable practices in animal husbandry.

The camp was graced by DDC Batote Jagveer Das, Ex-PRIs and prominent citizens.
