Ajatshatru lauds PM for successful holding of G20 in Kashmir, says it will boost tourist influx in J&K

JAMMU, May 24: Ajatshatru Singh, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Minister has lauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for successful holding of G20 Meeting in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued to media here today, the senior BJP leader said that the significant G20 meeting is specifically focussed on the promotion of Tourism which is considered to be a substantial booster of economy. He said that the main aim behind holding the meet in Srinagar is not only to boost tourism in Kashmir but across the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory which witnessed a declining trend during the past few decades due to terrorism. He said that first and foremost it is necessary to create a congenial environment for taking tourism to great heights there must be normalcy and above all a positive trust factor. He said the holding of G20 has shown to the whole world the ground realities in J&K with normalcy, security and development ruling the roost.  

The former minister said influx of international tourists will go up in Jammu and Kashmir and tourism and hospitality industry will gain immensely benefitting the common man whose income will definitely surge in the coming time. He said that the dignitaries attending the significant G20 Meet will act as Ambassadors of J&K after their return to home countries will share their experiences of stay in the Paradise on Earth Kashmir possessing mesmerizing charm and beauty with the people there.

“This will ultimately result in multiple progression of the number of aspiring tourists to J&K which will boost the tourism sector and its stakeholders including the hospitality sector.  It is undoubtedly going to give a huge thrust to the overall economy of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and its people,” he added.

The senior BJP leader reiterated that witnessing the holding of this significant international event in Kashmir from any perspective is going to benefit the people of J&K on the whole and for this full credit goes to the visionary PM Narendra Modi, the J&K UT Administration led by LG Manoj Sinha and of course last but not the least the people of this sensitive region.
