ADDC reviews RDD works in Baramulla, stresses timely execution and quality

BARAMULLA, MAY 17: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Ghulam Rasool Mir, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting with officers of the Rural Development Department (RDD) to assess the status of ongoing developmental works across the district.

On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Baramulla, Mudasir Hussain apprised about the physical and financial progress of various rural development schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY-G, SBM-G, and others. He provided a detailed overview of achievements, ongoing works, and projected targets for the current financial year.

While reviewing the sector-wise performance, ADDC emphasized timely completion, quality assurance, and optimal utilization of funds. He directed officers to proactively address bottlenecks and ensure that all works are executed within set timelines.

He also laid stress on regular field inspections, proper documentation and community participation to enhance transparency and accountability at the grassroots level.

ADDC appreciated the efforts of RDD officials and urged them to maintain momentum in project implementation. He emphasized that developmental activities must translate into tangible outcomes on the ground, thereby directly benefiting the rural population of Baramulla.
