ADC Leh Ghulam Mohd inaugurates training session on New Digital Portal for Land Management
LEH, May 30, 2025: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh Ghulam Mohd (JKAS), today inaugurated a training session for Ladakh Land Record Portal at the DC Office Conference Hall, Leh. This initiative marks a significant step forward in modernizing land management and record-keeping across the region.



The training, conducted by experts from RAMTeCH, equipped the Revenue Officers from Leh district with necessary skills to utilize the new digital platform. This training was essential for User Acceptance Test (UAT) of Ladakh Land Record Portal, helping to confirm its functionality and user-friendliness from the vendor’s side.
The new portal is poised to ease the work of Tehsildars and other revenue officials in Land Record management. It will significantly reduce the time spent on physical site visits and record management by providing easy online access to land records. Furthermore, the portal features digitized maps, enabling officials to accurately ascertain land dimensions remotely.
ADC Leh in his address, emphasis that Digitization of land record in Ladakh in one of the dream project of UT Administration lunched by Chief Secretary, which shall make easier or paper less management for revenue matters in Ladakh, having different Terrain nature. He also added that It will significantly enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in land administration, ultimately benefiting the people of Ladakh.
Key doubts and practical challenges related to the portal were discussed and addressed during Q&A session. Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars and officials from Revenue Department actively participated in the training. Officers stationed outside Leh joined the meeting through Video Conference.
