ABRSM delegation meets Joint Director to discuss teachers’ issues

A delegation of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaishik Mahasangh (ABRSM), under the leadership of State President Rattan Sharma , met the newly posted Joint Director School Education, Gurdev Kumar , to discuss pressing concerns of the teaching fraternity. Key issues raised during the meeting included the undue delay in transfer of teachers, importance of early conduct of DPCs for promotion of Teachers to Masters, and effective implementation of central government education policies aimed at qualitative improvement in the education sector.

The delegation comprised of Rahul Sharma (State Additional Secretary), Rakesh Sharma (State Executive Member), Mohan Singh (Seh Pramukh – Mera Vidyalay Mera Tirth), Ved Parkash (Jammu District General Secretary), Tarsem (Jammu District Media Prabhari), Narrotam , Deepak , and Vinod Sharma (Zonal General Secretary, Chauki Chaura).

The Joint Director gave a patient hearing and assured appropriate action on the highlighted concerns.
