J&K Govt hikes DA to 55% for employees effective January 2025

The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for government employees under the 7th Pay Commission. The DA has been revised from 53% to 55% of basic pay, effective from January 1, 2025. Arrears from January to May 2025 will be paid in cash with the June 2025 salary.
