Dr. Narinder Singh, Dr. Rajeev Bhagat holds Public Darbar at BJP headquarters
Jammu, 27 May 2025: Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA R.S. Pura – Jammu South Assembly constituency, and Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, MLA Bishnah Assembly constituency, held a Public Darbar at the J&K BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The Public Darbar witnessed the participation of a large number of residents, and deputations from different parts of Jammu.
Among other deputations, a deputation from ward 56, Gangyal requested for construction/upgradation of drainage system. A deputation from Bishnah presented an issue of residential home under PMAY. A deputations requested to install gratings. A deputation from Darsopur, Miran Sahib requested for provision of drainage system near Pond. A deputation requested for Earthwork in Chua Chak, Bishnah. A deputation requested for shifting of poles carrying 11 KVA electric lines. A deputation requested for the construction of lanes/drains at Patel Nagar, Gandhi Nagar. A deputation requested for canal water irrigation at village Alah, Bishnah.
Dr. Narinder Singh and Dr. Rajeev Bhagat provided a patient hearing to every deputation. Issues that could be immediately resolved were taken up with the concerned departments through direct communication with officials. For other matters requiring further follow-up, written representations were prepared and forwarded to the respective authorities for timely action.
Dr. Narinder Singh, while addressing on the occasion, stated, “This Darbar is a reflection of the growing trust that people have in BJP’s grassroots approach. We listen, we act, and we follow up. Every concern raised here is a priority for us. Our model of governance is based on accessibility and responsiveness, and such initiatives help us understand the on-ground challenges directly from the people.”
Dr. Narinder Singh added that the BJP has created a new culture of accountability where public grievances are treated as matters of immediate administrative importance.
Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, in his address, said, “Today’s interaction is a testament to the fact that BJP’s leadership stays continuously connected to the grassroots. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, governance is no longer confined to bureaucratic chambers. We believe in going to the people, hearing them out, and ensuring real-time redressal.”
The proceedings of the event were efficiently coordinated by Er. T.K. Sharma, Co-convenor of the BJP Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, ensuring smooth interaction between citizens and party leadership.
