Sat Sharma releases ‘Modi Ki Mann Ki Baat’ poem written by Balbir

Jammu, 26 May 2025: Sat Sharma (CA), the State President of Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), released a hindi poem “Modi Ki Mann Ki Baat” written by party spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan. On this occasion, former minister and national executive member Priya Sethi, former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria, the poet Balbir Ram Rattan himself, and senior leader Jagdish Bhagat were present.

This poem is dedicated to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat.” Through his poem, Balbir has highlighted the programme’s foresight, emotional connect, and inspirational impact, which since 2014 has served as a strong bridge between the Prime Minister and the citizens of the country. The poem particularly emphasizes stories of unsung heroes, the unique characteristics of different regions of the country, and national pride.

On this occasion, Sat Sharma, praised the poet, saying, “Mann Ki Baat is not just a radio programme—it is a movement that reflects the Prime Minister’s deep connection with the people of the country. It not only raises public concerns but also celebrates achievements and inspires millions. Balbir’s poem has beautifully captured this sentiment in words, and I congratulate him for it.

He further said, “this poem is not just a literary honour to Mann Ki Baat, but it will also serve as a medium to promote values like nation-building, cultural heritage, and public participation in governance—principles that Prime Minister Modi has consistently emphasized.

The poet, Balbir Ram Rattan, expressed his gratitude and said that the emotional and inspirational content of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was the main source of inspiration for the poem. He said, “It was important for me to present the essence of the Prime Minister’s messages in the form of poetry so that more and more people can connect with it.”
