Int’l Year of Cooperatives 2025

Theme based Quiz Competition organised at GGHSS Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MAY 22: As part of the series of activities being held to mark International Year of Cooperatives 2025, a quiz competition was today organized here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, under the Supervision of Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal.

The primary objective of the event was to educate and sensitize students about the principles, values, and importance of the cooperative movement, particularly its role in promoting socio-economic development.

The program began with a welcome address and an insightful presentation by Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Amit Sharma, who provided a detailed overview of the Cooperative Department and its functions.

The quiz competition featured five teams and covered a wide range of topics including Cooperatives, Indian History, Polity, and Geography.

The participants demonstrated remarkable awareness and understanding of the subjects, reflecting their academic diligence and interest.

To recognize and encourage the efforts of the students, all participants were felicitated with prizes and certificates.

The awards were distributed by the Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar, along with the Assistant Registrar Kishtwar and other dignitaries from the school and Cooperative Department.
