ACR Poonch visits Bandi Kama Khan after tragic incident
POONCH, MAY 18: Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch, Mohammad Sayeed today visited the village of Bandi Kama Khan following the tragic drowning of a 14-year-old boy, Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Khalil Ahmed. He was accompanied by Tehsildar Mandi and the In-Charge of Police Post Sathra.
The visit was conducted under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner . During the visit, the officials assessed the situation on the ground and met with the grieving family to express their condolences. As an immediate relief measure, financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 was provided from the Red Cross fund.
The authorities extended their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and urged the public to exercise caution near water bodies, particularly during the summer months when such incidents are more likely to occur.
