Bravehearts of the border must be accommodated: Karra       

Jammu-Samba, May 16, 2025: A comprehensive tour of border villages of district Samba was being carried out by PCC President Tariq Ahamed Kara and other senior leaders  had been carried out today. Local dewllers of villages Nanga, Mangu Chak,  Chasliana and Benglad explained their grievances which they have been facing particularly after heavy shelling by Pakistan last week. PCC President also visited the shattered bunkers on ground zero where locals explained about their experiences.

After having a detailed discussion with effected, he raised his serious concern not about the worst condition of bunkers but also another promise of the government about recruitment rallies, five marlas plots at safer locations. He sincerely appreciated the courage and zeal of locals who were being forced to migrate or to spend relentless nights in damaged bunkers. 

He also demanded the open recruitment rallies for the border youth as committed by Rajnath Singh years ago but also the compensation for the deceased and livestock. Nowadays, people are ruminating about the difference between Modi’s regime and the then Congress governments, he added . Working President Raman Bhalla also interacted with locals and assured the best support of party workers and volunteers of the party. He lambasted the central govt for not fulfilling the promises like five marlas plots and employment. District President Sanjeev Sharma alleged that most of the bunkers in the border area are too damaged to use. In one hand there is no power in the rare bunkers of the area which could be hardly used during shelling and in another hand the government is charging pretty high for the power of domestic use. 

 AICC Secretary Neeraj Kundan and  former Minister Yashpal Kundal also interacted with the people.  Babal Gupta,  Tirtah Ram, Vinod Kumar, Subash Singh, Jagdeep Singh and others also participated in the tour.
