Hari Singh Chib visits Block Pargwal Villages in Akhnoor amid Border Tensions
Jammu, May 8: Hari Singh Chib, Vice PrJammu, May 8: Hari Singh Chib, Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), today visited the Pargwal block villages in Akhnoor sector and interacted with the local residents and took stock of their concerns amid rising tensions along the Indo-Pak border.

During his visit, Hari Singh Chib interacted with the people and listened to their grievances. He assured them that the Congress Party remains deeply concerned about the welfare of the public, particularly in light of the current situation.

The senior Congress leader said “I have come here on the directions of Senior Congress leadership Malikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Dr Naseer Khan, Karra sahib in view of the growing tensions at the Indo-Pak border. The party is fully aware of the challenges faced by the people in border areas and is committed to extending all possible assistance to ensure their safety and well-being during these difficult times.”
He also urged the people of Block Pargwal to stay united and stand in full support of the Indian Army during these challenging times. “Our strength lies in our unity. We must all come together to support the brave soldiers who are guarding our borders and ensuring our safety. In times of adversity, our collective resilience and solidarity will ensure that we overcome every challenge that comes our way,” he added.
Hari Singh Chib further emphasized that the Congress Party, under the visionary leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Party President Mallikarjun Kharge, stands firm in its commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those in border areas, and will continue to support them in every possible way.
He assured the villagers that the Congress Party would advocate for the necessary steps to address their immediate needs and ensure that they receive all required assistance to cope with the prevailing security situation.
