Sham Lal Sharma, Mohan Lal Bhagat holds Public Darbar at BJP headquarters

Jammu, 05 May 2025: Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP vice-president and MLA, and Mohan Lal Bhagat, MLA listened to the mass grievances in a public darbar held at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

More than 30 deputations visited BJP headquarters, to share their issues with the party’s senior leader.

Among other issues, a large deputation from Pargwal Akhnoor alleged corruption in the revenue related matter.  Deputations from Talab Tillo, Gandhi Nagar, Karan Nagar, Sumb (Samba) presented the issue of installation and repair of street lights. Deputations from Bantalab Keran, Greater Kailash and other areas requested for repair and blacktopping of roads. Deputations from Barnai, and Domana presented sanitation related issues. Deputations from Channi Himmat, Narwal, Greater Kailash, Karan Nagar and other areas required for repair work of lanes & drains. A deputation of JKPCC requested for clearance of retirement dues. A deputation from Mendhar requested for the issue of NOC for Bank Branch. An issue from Trikuta Nagar was raised about the renewal of Gun Liscence. A deputation from Khour raised issue about the electric bills. A deputation from Akhnoor raised issue regarding Municipality. Land issue was raised by a deputation from Sainik Colony.

Sham Lal Sharma, while listening to the public grievances, said that the people have developed an unwavering faith in the BJP leadership and visit BJP headquarters in Jammu, in increasingly high numbers in the form of deputations to share their individual and development issues related to the society. The MLA asked the officers of related departments for speedy redressal of grievances, particularly for welfare schemes and public utilities. He asserted that providing relief to downtrodden, poor and needy people is the prime motive of Public Darbar.

Mohan Lal Bhagat said that the Modi government has worked on the ground level to provide transparent governance to the needy population of the nation. He also stressed on the dedication to the nation and the society by the party activists, which has reaffirmed the people’s faith in the party’s commitment leadership.
