District-Level Awareness Workshop on RAMP (MSME) Program held at Ramban

RAMBAN, MAY 01: Jammu & Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) under the aegis of the Department of Industries & Commerce J&K and in collaboration with the Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Limited (SICOP) on Thursday organized a District-Level Awareness Workshop on the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative here at the Conference Hall, Ramban.


The event was held under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.


Chief Planning Officer Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather presided over the event, and the program was coordinated by General Manager DIC Ravinder Anand. Consultants Narinder Abrol and Shabir Ahmed from TPO Office Jammu were the resource persons.


Speaking on the occasion, the CPO encouraged the participants, especially the trainees from Polytechnic and ITI to actively engage with the opportunities presented under the RAMP initiative. He emphasized that the event served as a vital platform to inform and involve local MSME stakeholders, promote new registrations, and enhance awareness about various government-supported MSME reforms and schemes.


Participants were briefed by resource persons on the range of support offered under RAMP, including financial assistance, digital enablement, market linkages, and capacity-building measures to strengthen MSMEs in the district.
