Sat Sharma inaugurates Swimming Pool at Chack Jaralan, Bishnah

Jammu April 21: Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP, accompanied by Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, MLA Bishnah, Ex MLA Ashwani Sharma, District Prabhari Rajinder Singh Chib, District President Rinku Choudhary, inaugurated a Swimming Pool at Chack Jaralan, Bishnah.

Sat Sharma, while inaugurating the swimming pool laid emphasis on the need of physical activity for the sound mind and body. He said that the Swimming pools offer a wide range of benefits, from improving physical health and mental well-being to enhancing social interaction and providing a fun activity. They are particularly beneficial for low-impact exercise, stress reduction, and can even help with rehabilitation from certain injuries or conditions.

Appreciating the swimming pool owner Vakil Singh for the new endeavour, Sat Sharma wished him good luck. He further asked the owner to maintain the good hygienic conditions in the swimming pool, getting regular water treatments and taking other proper precautions while employing professional trainers in the swimming pool.

Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, on the occasion, enumerated the beneficial effects of swimming for an individual. While stressing the Physical Health and Fitness benefits of swimming, he said that it is a low-impact exercise and a gentle way to work out, making it ideal for people with joint pain or mobility issues. Swimming strengthens the heart and lungs, improving cardiovascular endurance.

Ashwani Sharma underlined the role of good exercise facilities in the rural area. He said that besides serving as a direct tool for physical and mental fitness, it also boosts the socio-economic structure of the area.

Vakeel Singh, while sharing information about the pool, said that initially he has taken up the project for 3 swimming pools to cater the regular swimmers and the swimmer enthusiasts. He also said that these swimming pools will also cater to the recreational swimmers.
