BJP organizes ‘Dr. Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan’ across Jammu & Kashmir
Jammu 20 April: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir organized “Dr. Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan” programmes at ten places across Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP accompanied by Dr. Narinder Singh, National Secretary BJP & MLA, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), J&K BJP, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA and General Secretary, Parmod Kapahi, Programme Incharge, Prabhari Rajeev Charak, District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta, District General Secretaries Suneet Raina & Ravikant Sharma were present in the “Dr. Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan” programme organized at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Sat Sharma, in his address, criticized Congress for consistently ignoring Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar and his contributions. He said that the Congress always practiced the politics of its suitability for its own benefits. He said that the Congress for decades practiced appeasement instead of empowerment and used the poor and needy as the vote bank to enjoy the power corridors.
He emphasized that the Modi government developed the PanchTirth to honour the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and to ensure that his life, practices and teachings reach the people. The Modi government recognized the contributions of Dr. BR Ambedkar in a true way.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in his address, stressed that Congress twisted and weakened the Constitution for the 75 times, which were purely for its own benefits. He stressed that BJP is now working to strengthen Democracy and empower the people.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, said that Congress fielded a candidate against Dr. BR Ambedkar and conspired to ensure that Baba Saheb loses in the election. Congress also opposed him as the Chairman of the ‘Constitution Committee’ and even didn’t let him do work freely as the Minister.
Parmod Kapahi shared that the BJP is determined to take the legacy of Baba Saheb through these programmes.

MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Minister Bali Bhagat and others were present in a programme organized at Akhnoor.
BJP Vice-President & MLA Sham Lal Sharma, DDC chairman Bharat Bhushan Bodhi and others were present in a programme organized at Nowshera.
MLA Rajeev Jasrotia, MLA Dr. Bharat Bhushan and others were present in a programme organized at Basohli.
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson Waqf, District President Manzoor Wani and others were present in a programme organized at Anantnag.
Sajjad Kumar, Hakeem Ruhulla Ghazi and others were present in a programme organized at Budgam.
Ashok Bhat, Ch. Hussain Rather and others were present in a programme organized at Ganderbal.
Altaf Thakur, BJP Spokesperson, District President Farooq Ahmad Rather, district President and others were present in a programme organized at Kulgam.
