7- day Mega Surgical Camp inaugurated at GMC Rajouri

RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 26: The Department of Health and Medical Education UT of J&K, in collaboration with Rotary International on Monday organised a 7 day mega Surgical Camp being held in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch of Pirpanjal region.

A Team of Surgical specialists from different parts of Country performed 26 Major surgeries at Associated Hospital GMC Rajouri.

The camp has been organised under the patronage of LG Sh Manoj Sinha and guidance of Secretary H&ME Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah and under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Om Prakash Bhagat.

In his welcome address, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, expressed his gratitude to the team. He said the initiative will help local patients to get the surgical treatment which was pending due to some reasons. He also thanked ROTARY international for taking the initiative for coming to Rajouri and Poonch and giving their volunteer services.

Amarjeet Singh, Special Secretary H&ME assured full support for the success of the camp which will be there for next seven days.
