4 day orientation session on digitization of revenue records begins at Ramban
RAMBAN, JUNE 16: A four-day Orientation-cum-Training Session for the staff associated with digitization of Revenue Records and e-Services was inaugurated here today.

The training program, held under the aegis of the Revenue Department, is being conducted to enhance the technical skills and digital competency of the officials tasked with digitization work. The participants include Patwaries, Junior Assistants and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) deputed from across the district.
On the inaugural day of the 4-day training session, nearly 100 employees participated in the session, which featured expert guidance and hands-on handholding support by Master Trainers from the Revenue Department. The trainees were introduced to the technical and procedural aspects of digitizing critical revenue documents such as Jamabandis, Mussavis (Revenue Maps) and other related records.
The trained staff has been assigned to assist in the comprehensive digitization of all revenue records in the district. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce the dependency on manual records, streamline services delivery and empower citizens with timely access to their land and revenue information through online platforms.
