350 Yatris embark on Machail Yatra to Kishtwar from Jammu’s Indira Chowk amidst robust security measures

350 enthusiastic yatris (pilgrims) embarked on their spiritual journey from Indira Chowk in Jammu on Friday evening. The event was marked by tight security arrangements to ensure the safety and well-being of the pilgrims.

Amid the echoes of devotional chants and the scent of incense wafting through the air, the yatris, comprising devotees from various parts of the country, gathered at Indira Chowk before setting off for the revered Machail Mata Shrine in Kishtwar.

The procession featured a convoy of 12 meticulously arranged buses, each adorned with vibrant banners and symbols of divinity. To ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the yatra, the local administration had put in place a comprehensive security apparatus.

The security personnel, including police personnel and paramilitary forces, were deployed strategically along the route to Machail. Stringent security checks, CCTV surveillance, and a strong presence of law enforcement personnel created an environment of reassurance for the pilgrims and their families.
