2 held for drug peddling in Kulgam; Charas, Brown Sugar seized

KULGAM, 24 March: In order to eradicate the drug menace from society, District Police Kulgam apprehended 2 drug peddlers on Friday.

As per prima-facie, 110 grams of Charas and 2 grams of Brown Sugar has been recovered from their possession.

It is learnt the accused names cropped up were Aejaz Ahmed Malik resident of Ahmadabad and Gazanfar Ahmed Wani of Banihal.

A case in this regard under NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation is being taken up.
