15-Day ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan’ awareness & benefit saturation campaign kicks off in Poonch District
POONCH, JUNE 15: To commemorate Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh, Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today launched the 15-day ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan’ Awareness and Benefit Saturation Campaign from the University Campus. The campaign will run from June 15 to June 30 across various tribal-dominated areas of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected stalls set up by the line departments offering a range of services available under the campaign. The initiative is designed to ensure last-mile delivery of essential public services and to bridge existing gaps in infrastructure and human development indicators within tribal communities.
The Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal emphasized that 17 ministries and 25 key government interventions will be implemented during the campaign to saturate all eligible tribal beneficiaries. These initiatives include provision of safe housing, clean drinking water, healthcare, sanitation, education, nutrition, electricity, road connectivity, digital access and sustainable livelihoods, he added.
“This campaign is aligned with the vision of the Prime Minister’s mission of Viksit Bharat,” the Deputy Commissioner said. “We are committed to delivering all services under the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan right at the doorsteps of our tribal population in Poonch. No eligible beneficiary will be left out.”
The officers from the line departments created awareness about the respective schemes and urged the tribal communities to participate in the upcoming saturation camps to avail themselves of the benefits.
