PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) consultants conducted an interactive session with the students of TBS, JU

JAMMU , March 18: The Business School, University of Jammu organized the interaction session with PWC on 18th March, 2023. Dr. Yashpal Malik, Associate Director Social Sector division and Abhinav Sharma Manager, Management Consulting division from PWC interacted with MBA students.

Prof. Vinay Chauhan, Director, The Business School welcomed the guests and apprised the students about the internship opportunities with PWC. Prof. Chauhan expressed his gratitude to PWC experts for providing this great opportunity to TBS students.

While interacting with students Mr. Malik emphasized on lifelong learning by sharing his own life journey of having three master degrees, doctorate degree and Management degree from premium institutes like ICFAI, Amity and IIM Ahmedabad. Dr. Malik guided the students on building technical skill set so as to deliver in the dynamic corporate environment. The speaker also apprised the students about changing skill sets requirements during industrial revolution 4.0. Mr. Malik motivated the students to work on their basic skills such as communication, behavior and attitude, sharpen functional competencies and develop technical skills.

During his address Mr. Sharma discussed about the difference between Andragogy and Pedagogy. He shared about limit less learning opportunities in the digital age where learning has no boundaries. He motivated the students to pursue online courses from different online learning platforms along with their MBA to acquaint themselves with the requisite skills for rapidly changing business environment.

Dr. Rachna,Mahajan, Convener Placements and  Associate Professor, The Business School delivered formal vote of thanks. Students of MBA second and fourth semester attended the session. MBA second semester students were apprised about the process of selection for internships. Dr. Saloni Devi and Dr. Aubid Hussain Parrey, Members of Placement Team were present during the interaction
