DDC Rajouri reviews preparedness for switch over of Govt services to online mode
RAJOURI, June 13: To facilitate ease of service in various Government offices, the Government has directed a complete switch over of 178 services to online mode by June 15.
The District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the modalities in this regard.
Officers present in the meeting included ACD, Vijay Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; Dy CMO, Dr Anees Altaf Nabi; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; DIO NIC, Muzaffar Mir; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone and other concerned officers.
Addressing the officers in the meeting, the DDC said that the Government has launched many e-governance initiatives to promote transparency, accountability and responsive working culture in departments.
Underlining the objective of recent move of the Government to switch over of 178 services to online mode, he said that the initiative is one more move towards ensuring transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Government institutions.
He asked the concerned officers to submit the list of the schemes of their departments which can be provided to the general public through online mode.
Directing for ensuring the quality of services, he enjoined upon the concerned officers to undertake regular analysis of the quality of services being provided to the general public and take timely corrective interventions to raise public satisfaction with regard to their services.
