DC Kishtwar reviews progress of widening work on NH-244
Calls for timely submission of assessment of land, structures
KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today reviewed the progress of work on the NH 244 here in a meeting of officers of Revenue, Forest, executing Department and NHIDCL Authorities.
ADC Kishori Lal Sharma; SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Akhter Hussain Qazi; GM NHIDCL Parveen Ahalawat; DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh; DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar; Tehsildars besides other officials of Horticulture, PWD and PMGSY attended the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned Tehsildars and departments to submit the pending assessment reports of structures and land compensation fruit-bearing and non-fruit-bearing plants at the earliest.
He asked the NHIDCL, forest and revenue authorities to expedite the process of land demarcation alongside the NH244 besides removing the pending bottlenecks through synergized interdepartmental cooperation.
Threadbare discussion on the various interdepartmental issues and land encumbrances were held.
