DC Jammu reviews progress of work on under execution projects, schemes
JAMMU, JUNE 02: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa today reviewed the status and progress of work on development projects and schemes being implemented in the district, besides various revenue-related matters at a meeting held in DC Office Complex.
ADC Satish Sharma; ACR Vijay Kumar, SDMs, and Tehsildars along with senior officers from the Revenue department were present at the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review regarding writing and digitization of Jamabandis, implementation of SVAMITVA scheme, the status of eviction of unauthorized occupants from state land, disposal of revenue court cases on RCCMS portal, issuance of online Fard Intkhab and other services, attestation of pending Mutations, acquisition of land and compensation, progress on Jammu-Akhnoor road, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway, Ring Road, Akhnoor-Poonch road, etc.
While reviewing the progress regarding the writing of Jamabandis and its digitization, attestation of mutations, and writing of Girdawaris, the DC directed the Tehsildars to complete the same as per targets.
She set timelines for speedy submission of details of mutations and updation of Jamabandis/Girdawari.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked the officers to launch anti-encroachment drives to vacate State, Kahcharai, and common land in their respective areas. She also directed the Tehsildars for speedy disposal of court cases.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to work with zeal and zest and ensure the completion of the work within the targeted time.
