DC Anantnag launches dedicated Revenue helpline
People can solicit information regarding various services provided by Revenue deptt through the helpline: Dr Singla.
ANANTNAG, March 29: THE Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla today launched a dedicated Revenue helpline to be used by people to solicit information regarding various services provided by the Revenue department.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the Revenue department has seen the advent of various people friendly initiatives in recent times like Apki Zameen Apki Nigraani, e-services for various certificates, Swamitva, CLU, etc. He said that the common man can use these helplines to get more information regarding these initiatives. The helpline can also be used to procure information on how to proceed further for various revenue related issues including Mutation, demarcations, registration, etc.
He said the people can use the dedicated helpline between 10 AM to 6 PM and do not have to visit the local Revenue authorities for routine Revenue issues. He hoped people will make maximum use of this facility.
Tehsildar Consolidation, Nodal Officer for the dedicated Revenue helpline said that the helpline is functional and they have already started receiving calls pertaining to various services. She said the helpline will be instrumental in providing hassle free information to the people regarding various revenue related services. The helpline numbers will be functional between 10AM and 6PM.
