Crude oil futures gain on spot demand

New Delhi, Jun 14 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 58 to Rs 9,310 per barrel as participants widened positions on a firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery traded higher by Rs 58 or 0.63 per cent at Rs 9,310 per barrel in 3,894 lots.

Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 0.80 per cent at USD 121.90 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.87 per cent higher at USD 123.33 per barrel in New York.
