Copper futures gain on robust demand

New Delhi, June 21 (PTI): Copper prices on Tuesday increased by 0.61 per cent to Rs 741.60 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 4.50 or 0.61 per cent at Rs 741.60 per kg in a business turnover of 3,472 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
