Copper futures gain on robust demand

New Delhi, Jun 14 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday increased by 0.07 per cent to Rs 764.05 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher by 55 paise or 0.07 per cent at Rs 764.05 per kg in a business turnover of 4,239 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
