Leh, May 10: According to the media bulletin released about the daily report on Public Health measures taken for COVID-19 infection prevention and control by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 114 sample reports were received by the Health Department Leh yesterday and all reports were negative for COVID-19. Out of the total sample reports, 48 sample reports are of Leh district and 66 sample reports are of Kargil.

The media bulletin further says that all 21 active COVID-19 cases of UT Ladakh are in stable health condition.

A total of 40 inmates from quarantine facility (hotel) of Kargil district have been discharged after completing 14 days quarantine period and advised them for a further 14 days of home surveillance.

A normal deliver was also conducted at CHC Chiktan by Block Medical Officer Chiktan and the baby was given the birth dose vaccination.

A total of 653 passengers reached Khaltse check post yesterday at 2:30 PM.  They had come from Jammu in buses and private vehicles. The screening started at 2:30 PM and continued till 12:15 AM.
