CoE, IASE Sgr organises lecture on 'Importance of Golden Hour for Road Accident Victims'
SRINAGAR, June 7: An extension lecture on the theme “Importance of Golden Hour for Road Accident Victims” was today organised by the NSS Unit -1 of College of Education (CoE), IASE M W Road within the College premises, here.
The lecture was organised as part of road safety awareness programme and was formally inaugurated by Prof. Rubeena Jabeeen.
She formally welcomed the guests and congratulated NSS Unit -1 for organizing this lecture.
The programme was moderated by coordinator NSS Unit -I Dr. Nousheen Qureshi where she emphasized the importance and need of organising such type of awareness programme on large scale level.
The invited speakers were Mr. M. R. Mattoo, Secretary Red Cross Branch Kashmir and Dr. Mohsin Muneer, Medical Officer Red Cross Kashmir.
The speakers highlighted the importance of things that one should keep in mind while facing any sort of accident on the road side and the immediate steps to save a life.
The lecture was attended by staff and the students of the college.
The speakers not only deliberated on the topic but also demonstrated the same in the college premises. During the demonstration the participants cleared their doubts in the question-answer session.
The activity was highly appreciated by the staff and students of the college. The programme concluded by the formal vote of thanks by the Co-Coordinator NSS Unit-I Prof. Syed Shabana, Shabir.
