BJP Mahila Morcha celebrated good governance day by honouring women with Atal Puraskar at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

JAMMU December 24: J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by BJP Vice-President & Mahila Morcha Parbhari Anuradha Charak, BJP NEM & Headquarter Incharge Priya Sethi (Former Minister), National Executive member Updesh Andotra, Sunanda Raina (Red. GMC Principal), Mahila Morcha president Sanjita Dogra and She-Parbhari Veenu Khanna graced the occasion.

Ravinder Raina highlighted the work of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said Good Governance Day act as a reminder to the present government that it should be unbiased, transparent and development-oriented. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a Great Indian politician liked by the opposition too He was an extraordinary orator and epitome of inspiration for all of us, he said.

Priya Sethi enlightened on the success of ‘Sushasan Saptah’ (Good governance week) by saying “ In the Amrit period of independence, we are marching ahead rapidly to create an equitable system, efficient process and fair governance to make development all around and all-inclusive. She said that Modi took inspiration from Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s work on the upliftment of women.

Sanjita Dogra said that the Mahila Morcha team is committed to strengthening good governance that is pro-people and proactive governance, guided by the citizen first approach.

She also paid her gratitude to our Modi for having the vision to empower women, especially at the grassroots, by providing them with the necessary skills, incentives and resources. She appropriated the decision taken by the Supreme Court in favour of women by extending their legal age of getting married from 18 to 21 yrs.

Nahida Qamer Tilal from Bandipora district, Nirmala Devi DDC member, Kamlesh Verma Vice -President Municipal committee Ramgarh, Meena Sharma, Anjali Sharma were honoured with a token of appreciation by giving Atal Puraskar who performed exceptionally brilliant by giving their 100 percent in their respective field.

Sunanda Raina, Anuradha charak , Veenu khanna and Updesh Andotra also spoke on the occasion.

The proceeding was done by Neha Mahajan. A vote of thanks was presented by Urvashi Gupta to all the DDC member Councillors, State office bearers, Special invitees and all the Mahila morcha team who were present there. Prerna Nanda coordinated the programme.
