Army organises Medical Patrol in District Ramban

JammuApril 30: In consonance with the Indian Army's ongoing efforts to help the Awam and provide basic health care, a Medical Patrol was launched to village Kot Asthanmarg, Tehsil Gool in District Ramban (J&K) with the aim of distributing medicines at higher reaches and helping them to overcome the disease and suffering caused due to lack of basic medical facilities.

A total of 80 residents of the village were benefitted from the medical patrol. The patrol provided them with the much-needed medicines and motivated the locals to maintain a healthy living. In addition, the patrol spread awareness among villagers about the preventive measures to be followed during the COVID era and stressed the importance of using the mask in daily routine.

The local expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army for organising such an initiative in the pandemic era. The conduct of such events will surely help the Indian Army to connect with the AWAM and foster the bond between Awam and the Indian Army in times to come.
