Army distributes essential items among BPL Families in district Poonch

Jammu June 10: As a goodwill gesture and in continuance of its commitment towards the welfare of the general public, the Indian Army organised a camp for the distribution of essentials for locals especially for BPL families at Dara Dullian in District Poonch (J&K).




The aim of this event was to provide essential daily need items and spread awareness on the ongoing pandemic for locals of the region.


During the event, the local Army unit distributed dry ration packets to eight BPL families. This humane gesture was well received by locals who lauded the Indian Army for bringing relief to the citizens.



The locals praised the armed forces for providing dry ration and other staple items in these challenging times. The activity was carried out adhering to all COVID-19 restrictions and ensuring the safety of all attendees and Indian Army personnel.
