Army conducts awareness drive through Medical Patrolling in Ramban

Jammu May 15: In consonance with the Indian Army's ongoing efforts during the pandemic to reach out to remote areas, the Indian Army at Asthanmarg in District Reasi (J&K) launched a medical patrol to village Ghaghra, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban.


The Patrol provided basic medicines to those in need and awareness about COVID-19 and its vaccination program.




A total of 40 residents mostly old aged and children of the village were benefitted from the medical patrol in which basic medicines and COVID kits were provided.


The patrol also interacted with the village heads to further enhance the reach of villagers to the nearest PHC / Sub-divisional Hospital for vaccination.
