Youth potential needs to be channelized for J&K’s betterment: Rafi Ahmad Mir

SRINAGAR, July 30: Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir on Friday felicitated the ten students who were awarded gold medals in various streams for the academic year 2020-21 by the Hon'ble President Ram Nath Kovind at the Kashmir University's convocation.

While referring to Shaheen Ghulam of Salia Village, Anantnag, who was awarded a gold medal in GeoInformatics, Mir said that it is a proud moment for her parents and exuberance for everyone from Anantnag. “She will be an exemplary inspiration for students who are seeking edification and want to achieve high goals in their lives,” he added.

Furthermore, Mir asserted that it’s a moment of utmost joy and pride for all those parents and their teachers whose students have once again shown their mettle and brought laurels to Kashmir through their academic achievements.

“Youth have a great capacity to influence the progressive outcome and I am confident that a person's commitment to pursue specific objectives with utmost dedication and enthusiasm encourages them to reach the destiny they have set for themselves.” Mir observed.

He asserted that J&K's youth have tremendous potential which they have consistently exhibited in every field of study, including regional and national level competitive exams while securing high ranking positions.
