Recommended compensation to families affected of natural calamities
BANDIPORA, May 26: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan on Thursday chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the cases of relief/ compensation to the affected families due to natural calamities.
The meeting was convened to discuss and consider various calamity relief cases of the damages caused to private property/livestock due to fire.
After discussion, the committee recommended seven cases of the district for payment of compensation/ relief under SDRF norms including four cases of Sumbal and three cases of Bandipora Block.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Waseem Raja; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Parvaiz Rahim; Tehsildar Bandipora and other concerned officers.
