Enforcement teams recover Rs 54,950 fine from violators
RAMBAN, January 21: As per the District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department on Friday administered the vaccination doses to 951 people including 199 children in the 15-17 years age group in the district.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining a physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 54,950 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021, to Rs. 83, 90,650. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per the daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 3905 samples including 572 RT-PCR and 3333 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 951 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
