60 new positive cases reported in UT Ladakh, 84 patients cured and discharged


Leh, April 19: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 60 positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 50 reports were received by CMO Leh and 10 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.






The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 84 patients yesterday. Out of which 78 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 06 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1647; 1567 in Leh district and 80 in Kargil district.






The bulletin further informs that 975 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 248 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Saturday and 44 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post on Saturday.
