30 persons test COVID-19 positive in UT Ladakh
4 recover and discharged 592 Active cases
Leh, Aug 15: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 30 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 15 positive reports from various testing centers of PGIMER Chandigarh, COVID Lab Chuschot, and DIHAR. While CMO Kargil also received 15 positive reports from COVID Lab Chuschot and through Rapid Antigen Test.
The bulletin further details that two patients from Home Isolation and two from Covid Hospital Leh were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 592; 373 in Leh district and 219 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 592 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
At Upshi check post 77 passengers, drivers, and helpers of 36 tankers, 30 trucks and 3 light vehicles were screened. Also 59 passengers and 243 drivers and helpers of 172 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. Vehicles were also sanitized.
