Leh, Aug 06: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received a total of three positive sample reports and 212 negative sample reports from various testing centres of PGIMER Chandigarh and COVID-Lab Chuschot. 

While 13 patients from Facility Isolation at Leh were discharged today after their negative reports were received by CMO Leh. With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 411; 287 in Leh district and 124 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 411 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

Today 236 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 159 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 77 samples were sent by CMO Kargil.

83 passengers, drivers and helpers of 20 trucks, 26 tankers and 05 light motors vehicles were screened at Upshi Check post yesterday. 

32 passengers and 336 drivers and helpers of 251 trucks/tankers and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
